She's FINALLY here!

This is going to be very short, nothing like the day we had yesterday! Megan finally got her eviction papers yesterday at 4:00 PM exactly, although I had no idea how much baggage she was carrying with her!!! She is 7 lbs and 11 oz and 19 and half inches long. (Maddy was only 5 lbs and 5 oz, major big difference!!!) So I am very sore today in places I didn't know existed! But I am so blessed and happy to say that she is very healthy and we will be going home tomorrow.
I had some wonderful people come by the hospital to see her and I thank you for coming so far to see her. Mike surprised Janet this weekend and was able to see his brand new niece, hopefully she will let her love on her for awhile since Maddy's not sure about him right now. (extremely shy!) But I know she loves him.
Well I will try to post some pics soon but wanted everyone to know that she is here, healthy and all.

Still pregnant and getting more miserable

Still pregnant and getting more miserable as the moments go by. I don't know if this means she is going to stubborn for the rest of her life, but I guess she's just like her dad, okay maybe me too. I am really tired of the comments that some people make, like I have any control over her coming any sooner or that I am as big as a house, or I love this one...are you carrying twins? Are you serious? I don't have time to sit and eat bon-bons and gain the weight, it just shows up. So I am anti-social right now because I can't stand the way I look right now. I know I should be blessed with the miracle of something growing inside of me, but it starts to wear you down at the end.
I have another check-up tomorrow. I was only 1 cm last Monday and she was high. So I am not sure if anything has changed. I had contractions every day last week but no go. Dr. Klein has spared me becoming more miserable, and if she doesn't make her appearance by the 28th then I will have a scheduled induction.
The rest of the family is doing okay. They are all being so supportive of for me. Madison has been visiting everyone. Ryan's second job has been keeping him pretty busy but he seems to enjoy it. I am truly blessed.
Well if any news changes tomorrow, I will at least leave a line or two to let everyone know.

Getting closer...

Well it's Friday and the past two weeks have been hard for us. Madison is much better but now with these wonderful hormones I have got the worse sinus infection. I am on antibiotics and the ever so powerful Tylenol for the pressure pain. But I will get through this, poor Ryan has had to take care of both of us for the past week. My old college roommate who is like a size 0 had her fourth baby this week. This is her first girl and I am so happy for her but she has a big girl to start with, she weighed 8 lbs and 13 oz. I told Megan don't even think about coming out that big!!!! I have a doctor's visit on Monday so I am not sure if I will checked to see if I am dilated or not yet. My legs have unfortunately started the swelling that I had with Madison. But enough of the complaining.
Mom and Dad are doing great. Brian went fishing in Rockport this week with some friends and last I had heard didn't catch anything. Mike is still in Virginia and apparently is on some Marine Camp and is like living in a gerbil cage with everything connecting. Grandma Holden just celebrated her 84th birthday and went to the casino and came back with some winnings. So we are truly blessed that everyone is doing well right now. I will write after my visit on Monday if there is any news to tell from the doctor.

Tired....

This will be a short one. I took Maddy to the doctor yesterday and was told good news that it was not in the ears nor the chest. She possibly has allergies or the crud that all the little ones have right now with the wonderful changes of the weather that we have in Texas. So the doc gave us a prescription for a cough suppressant/decongestant and Zyrtec. So now I have had two nights in a row of about 4 hours of sleep. I guess I am getting ready for the sleepless nights with Megan. I saw Dr. Klein yesterday and everything is going fine, but he is not sure I will make it to March.

Happy New Year

Just a little bit of an update... Mom and Dad are still doing well and found out that the idiot has had a prior conviction and that he was not drunk but high on drugs the day of the accident. So now they have a long wait to see what the insurance company can do.

Mike, my older brother, will be leaving this Thursday for training with the FBI. I am so proud of him! But we will miss him and Megan will probably not wait for him to make it home.

I am feeling okay, just feeling really huge! I don't want her here until at least Valentine's Day. I am already feeling mother nature prepare me for the sleepless nights, as I am getting up every 2 hours to pee about a teaspoon!!!!!

Maddy is still a little under the weather. She still has a runny nose and a cough, so we may have to send her to Dr. Quillin this week. I feel like sometimes I am being a worry wort about her but she is so precious to us. She may also be starting day care soon. Ryan is getting a second job to help out with two little girls that we want to be able to give everything to.

Welcoming in 2009

I have never wanted a year to be over...but today did the trick. My parents were hit by a drunk driver in their Surburban and brand new RV today. The big man upstairs was with them and they were able to walk away from it. This all happened at 11 AM today. Stupid drunk driver! Of course, he had no insurance and was not even driving his own vehicle. I am so glad that I was not there because I would be in jail with the idiot for assaulting him. Then I found out also that my Uncle Mike was just diagnosed with colon cancer. So I am soo looking forward to the new year.
I went to the doctor on Monday and we had an ultrasound done. Megan Elizabeth weighs approximately 3 and half pounds at 31 weeks. I have some additional amniotic fluid but Dr. Klein is not worried right now about it.
Madison and Ryan are both fighting some kind of virus right now. Maddy is horse and doesn't sound like herself. Daddy thinks she sounds like her cousin Keelie right now. I hate that she is not feeling well. But she is running around and not missing a beat so I guess it sounds worse than what it really is.
So tonight we are sitting on the couch watching TV and safe at home. I will try to keep everyone up to date as the year goes by. It will be a big year for all of us. My parents will be looking for a new RV to take them on safe trips, Maddy will become a big sister and I hopefully will still be sane by the end of 2009.
